Listeroid RPM

I have a question about the rpm of the Listroid:
Is the Listroid can turn at different speed or the speed is set and can't be regulated?

As i understand it, they are designed for one speed, and the flywheels become unsafe at higher speeds.  Lower speeds, the flywheel does not have enough mass for the engine to run well.  You can adjust a RPM's somewhat, to get the right Fq out of a generator, but AFIK, it's only a small percentage of adjustment.
Hope this helps, and I hope I'm not incorrect (in which case someone better get me straightened out on this)

The speed can be varied over a reasonable range.  My 3.5/1 will run nicely at 200 RPM but that requires a different spring.  At that slow speed the engine develops very little power.

The upper limit for spoked flywheels is about 650 RPM and the Stover wheels (Disk with 2 large holes) is about 850.  There is certainly a safety factor here but those are max. Lister engine speeds.

The stock spring will allow about a +10% -50% speed range.
