So, should I start a thread called "How Big's Your Handle"?  There are obvious advantages to handles big enough for a two handed grip.  One could make a case for longer skinnier handles being better.  Some could also say shorter fatter handles are better.  I don't know about guys that are left handed, and I certainly don't have any experience with anyone else's handle.

Mine looks different.  What's it supposed to be from Peter?

Very Nice Hotater,
It's those little touches of quality signifying pride in a job well done, that makes all the difference. Nice touch (if you have any more pieces of brass lying around, and decide to make them available to the members, please keep me at the top of the list for two.) binnie
Listeroid 12/2 Jkson with 10kw head, for backup now on diesel. Future interests: WVO, bio,  Cogen - Heat exchangers - solar.

Ya I'd like a brass handle, about 3 feet long that fires 1 inch ball bearings mounted on a little cart lol.

I think I just found a way to beat the gun registry.

Doug---

With this one you have to have someone a mile down range hollering 'FOUR'.

With lead shot its set for light 'armor'.

That's a 10/2 handle, Stan.

Nobody picked up on the one handle in the pictures that was reversed rotation?

I think that's either a CD/CE or an FR handle.

Was there an option on the rotation of some of these early Listers?

The reason I ask is the Indian Petters offer a choice of standard and anti clock wise. The only real difference seems to be different oil pump and cam.

Just seemed logical that Lister would have offered this around the same time if Petter did ( If Petter sice I don't know if this was the case )

So far as I can tell from the pictures they all turn the crankshaft clockwise as they are set up, in spite of the side the spring boss is placed.  It's a simple matter to reverse the plunger on any of the handles; indeed I nearly reassembled my own with the plunger the wrong way round only a fortnight ago.  The back-to-front handle illustrated is not for a CD -- the bore is too small.  My CD has a 2+1/2" shaft and resembles most the leftmost picture.
