There are small cats and scrubbers already out there.
But at this point no one wants top spend the money on them.
Listeroids migt not get hot enough to opperate them.

A point will come when all small engines face this requirement and we will see prices for cats like the PBX drop as volume increases.

They work well
I've seen 5 hp Yanmar full power run at 500 ppm C0, N02 26 PPM and HCH0 at 8.5 with extra low sulpher fuel.

this just gets more fun all the time  >:(

and now with the new congress, what will happen next.

but as i have said before "words have meaning" and the aritical does not threaten engine's that were manufactured before july 11, 2005.
but they look to be threatened if "reconstructed" which in meaning mean's "overhauled"

so then the question becomes "what comprises reconstruction"? and...
if you do it yourself, how can they prove "reconstruction"

they will not be happy until they make us all outlaws :)

once there was "rum" runners,
then there were "gun" runners
and of course "moonshine" runners
and the nasty "drug" runners
now we have those, nasty, smelly, greasy, dirty, grimey, listeroid "runners"

somehow we are taking it in the shorts, the first 4 of 5 made money "running"
we fight like hell to even have a hope of breaking even.

something is very wrong in this world

Yes and no Bob....

I love my Lawn Boy collection, my old OMC outboards and other odds and ends I've aquired.
I like the 2 stroke sleds I drove as a kid and dirt bikes go carts ect....

But their poison when you add them all up, a lot more than a modern emmisions controlled car.

At some point these will all be regulated and controlled to leave a smaller foot print and inspite how hard we try we have to change.

On the up side I'm looking at starting a competition a Roid league with the intention of getting roid owners and persective owner to build a run Listeroid/Petteroid engines in efficiency and power turnaments.

This of course is completely leagal under EPA rules. But in order to qualify you'll need a roid set up at home for testing and we only meet once every 20 years for a real engine meet....

The one single word that always appears in this EPA BS is "Stationary", fine so all we have to do is get some little caster wheels which can be levered down or screwed down and it's no longer a "stationary compression ignition engine" it is a "mobile compression ignition engine" and as such not covered under the stupid regulations..

"Why sure it's a mobile engine.. it just doesn't get out that much"

i think they limit you to 50 cc displacement for clubs

but i don't think educational facilities are limited for purposes of education

so i guess maybe we will have to start a listeroid university, with branch campus's and test facilities all over north america
(you know we have to test at differing elevations, barametric pressures, humidity, and socio/economic area's)

thats so damn funny it might even work :)

we could all be professors, have tax write offs, go on seminar trips, run for office.... hehehe :)

we need an artwork guy to start with all the letterhead, diploma's, and oh ya,,, a website.

seriously that might work

there is no laws limiting the formation of a school, just hoops and laws if you want accreditation.
we don't need no stinking accreditadation :)

or we could go the religion route,,
and form a church, start a movement, of course we would have to have churches all over the world.
"church of lister"
but then again we might run afoul with other religions, and have someone threaten us with oblivion
us being infidel's and all

i could be reverend bob

lmao

For 50 bucks Bob you can become a reverend right now if you find the right web page ( I've considered this myself just for a lark ).

All competion engines are exempt from emissions regulation.
The first meet for the newly formed NLRA ( National Lisrteroid Racing Association ) is set for July 1st 2026 here in the Nickel City on the Campus of the Devine University of open fly wheel engine....

Heck, If I could get a scholarship in the Listeroid mail order collage, or lifetime member in the meet every 20 years club that would be fine.....but tying up my Sunday for the church of Lister might not work...I already do!I think mine will be tagged for off-road use only...
