Unidentified Petter
« on: December 01, 2006, 12:29:24 AM »
I saw a petter today in a field, a two cylinder aircooled engine with a large cowel on one side to direct the airflow over the vaned cylinders.  Any idea what it might be?  there was no id on it anywhere I could see.

Probably an AVA2, that's the most popular of the air-cooled Petter engines.

But there are plenty of others!

have a look at the engine data sheets on our website, you should be able to get an idea from the pictures there.
