Words of wisdom.
« on: November 08, 2006, 12:40:57 AM »
I'd like everyone to post one saying, one saying only, any subject, that they would answer in response to the question "what is the most useful thing you can tell me?"

I'll start it off, not by saying mine, not yet anyway, but by repeating the words Peter Brideson gave me when I asked him this question many years ago.

"You can say anything you like to your boss, as long as you are not right, that is the one crime they will not forgive."

When you are building something, try to make each part exactly ...then when you are done it should be close to perfect...
If you try to make each part close as you can the finished product will be far from perfect...

Its what i try to explain to every young person i help build something...
Very few children actually build stuff..but thats another subject...

Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.

" you can milk a cow for a very long time, but you can butcher and eat her but once"  seems applicable to many topics, especially business.  (paul magathan, dairy farmer)

 #1 Mind your own business.
#2 Don't mess around with another man's women.

I have a bunch of these.  I collect them.  But GF requested only one, so:
