Run away diesel

Yesterday (Tuesday) had the gas line people out to dig a trench for the new line to the house….I had marked out a good route so as to avoid digging up any service lines from the well…the operator tacked off in a direction off  the designated route …broke a 2” line….escaping gas gets sucked up into excavator engine….run away diesel  for  5-6 seconds…as he backs away really fast…lots of excitement…clean shorts  for everyone…..no damage to the engine …

I'll keep you posted...nothing is easy....
