Hi,
One of these days I'll post an update on the website. Hurricane Wilma hit with great force and casued the genset to run another 100 hours. I'm going to change the oil for the winter and check the magnets etc and will report the findings later. Generaly tho, it ran perfectly. The new gov spring REALLY helped with the voltage problems and the lights were very steady this tour.
Still burning about .1 GPH/ KW.
The cooler weather had me reduce the voltage (from 14.4 to 12 volts) to the fan to slow it down which allowed the engine to warm up. It was running about 150 deg with the air temp in the 60's. The loads were lower as well due to the lack of A/C needed in the cooler air.
Atul (Power Annand) called from India to check up on me and sent me a big box full of spares (free and overnighted DHL) in case I needed them, including head gasket, full gasket set, crannk seals, injector pump rebulid kits, even more injector lines (I now have lots of spares), and new cam gear and new rings. This guy really wants to do a good job here in the states. He gets my vote.
We ordered 3 more engines from him and are awaiting them to inspect and evaluate. Getting a pair of 25/2's (and a 6/1 for me) to build another un-needed toy.
