I'm planing a move and won't be needing my generator where I'm going. So here it is.

About 400 hours. Runs well. 16/1 engine with st generator head (new bearings)  Includes all the other parts to make it go including radiator, cooling lines, coolant pump, fan, overheat shutdown system, exhaust etc. It's mounted on huge steel I beams. You can see it on YouTube under rocketboy911 videos called listeroid power station. It has been improved since the vid was made. It will fit thru a 48 inch wide opening.

Asking $4500 but will consider trades offers.. I can forklift it onto your truck or trailer.

Thanks for reading,,

And his name is Atul Patal. Get you're facts straight before launching a personal attack.

Are you serious? Your poor grammar, horrid typing, and personal attacks are not welcome here.
This forum is for sharing information of a useful value. You're childish attempts to discredit a proven supporter to bolster your own sales are pathetic.

Please go away. And don't come back.

On a more serious note,

I tried last week to balance my twin. It was a failure. The engine displayed .3 IPS horizontal and .1 IPS vertical vibration.
I messed around with it all day using the Aces Probalancer. After adding 11 oz of lead to one flywheel, and 5 oz of lead to the other, I got the horizontal vibration down to .25 IPS and that was it... no better. The thing still shakes the ground for 75 feet in all directions. FWIW, both recipcrocating masses were over balanced. There is still a possibilty for improvment using the position sensor and moving weight around different parts of the flywheels. A longer more complex process.

I seems to me the only cure is to do as the indians recommend... the engine bolted/shimmed DIRECTLY to tons of concrete.

The glass pack muffler is plenty LOUD at high power settings. No doubt, a conventional muffler is the  best I've tried. Pick a BIG muffler and it will work well.

Yo piperpilot! I'll balance your prop for $10 less than CUJET will do it......and I'll use HIS new Aces 20/20 Probalancer!

HAHA Chris!

Get rid of that smelly piece of junk and get a Volkswagon diesel rabbit powered generator governed by a onan regulated VE pump.

All your problems will go away, tho.... you won't be able to fix it with a sledge hammer!

Worn injector pump lobe.

One cylinder is loafing, the other is over loaded.  Makes black smoke. Retime pump, re-balance linkage.

Bubbles in fuel = one cylinder pump not working well due to airlock. Other cylinder stuggles to maintain power and makes black smoke.

The 6/1 was bult by Anand, and sold to me thru GTC engines. I deal directly with Power Anand now for all affairs.

Love my 6/1, way better than the twin. If you can live on 4kw, a 6/1 is the way to go.

Too much oil in upper cylinder head will make it slobber. The oil leaks around the valve guides into the combustiion chamber during non-operation, then it blows nasty black oil all over during startup. May be interpreted as ring break in problems.

Hi,

I don't know the torque. I torque the big ones a tight as i can get them, I estimate 120 lb/ft.
The smaller ones a little less.
It took 3 heat/cool cycles to get the bolts tight. amazing how loose they were after the first two runs.

Well I never got ahold of the gasket guy so I finally installed regular old copper gaskets today.
The engine had 500 hours on it mostrly running 50/50 jet fuel/WMO.
It came apart quickly, no more that 20 minutes until the heads were off.

This 16/2 engine has heads with 7 studs, 4 large and 3 small. Near one of the small studs along the side of the head, the head gasket was clearly broken causing the leak.

I decarboned it, but their wasn't much carbon or deposits. I estimate the thickness of the carbon to be about .010 on the piston less on the head.
It scraped off easily.

I made a mixture of Formagasket #2 and alcohol and soaked the new gaskets in it. Bolted it up and all is fine, with no leaks or other problems.

I ran it for a few hours and will re-torque the heads tomorrow. Definaltey need to pay more attention to the head torquing, and probably won't de-carbon for another 1000 hours.

Yikes!!

Blown head gasket. Gasses are leaking from under one of the smaller head nuts. Retorqing did not work. Need a gasket job.

FWIW, the nuts were plenty loose. Better check the head nuts frequently!
