Price change

Lister 8.5hp start'o'matic fat boy for sale  :'(. £500

( please inform me if price is to dear) Runs at moment running a honda 2.4kw head on manual start. All start'o'matic parts are there expect out end bearing cover and cover for control cabinet on gen head also some brushes as they broke on stripping.was working but stripped to fit new bearings and brushes.includes tank for cooling and new tank for fuel , also radiator if wanted.Will need to be picked up as I'll health stopped all work on her. engine has had new injector tip and pistion rings both genuine lister parts. Will  need rollers and boards to retrieve for shed in bottom of garden. Will try to fit castors if possible. Also has consumer box with earth trip and trips fitted
and volt/hz meter fitted. Please ask questions and not talk ill of sick people, as i have fibromyalgia . I will try to post pictures of required .Thank's for your support over the years.

Lister Based Generators / generator size for 8/1

i need help deciding which st head to get, as i have an 8/1 lister on an s.o.m base , should i go for a st5 which would be slightly under sized kw wise or should i go for a st 8 ,which would give better a better safety margin for motor starts. this is for a chp system which is going to be long term project with aim of going off grid in time. pennies as of yet will not allow for battery bank .  please note  powers to be do not know this .

Got my chritmas present on monday an lister cs 8/1 on som base, but no  gen head it had been removed by burning off the bolts . the engine has the seloined and enginge speed switch fitted but no other eletric gear, will try to post pictures when down loaded from camer

newbie here first post
   Has any one perchased a listeroid from listerclones.co.uk or stationary engine parts ltd, as ebay prices are begining to get steep , listerclones gives £800 as starting price for a 6/1 standard delivered stright to you and stationary engine parts gives £824.99 +17.5% tax + approx £45 delivery and 12 months warrenty total £1014 .  both supply anand enterprise engines ,as it seems  pot luck  to quality ie sand / poor castings and build quality from the threads in this forum ???, as it seems these too are the only ones in england that inport the listeroid
