Lister Market Place (things for Sale) / ST-15 15KW Generator Head w/Spares
« on: December 01, 2022, 10:07:34 PM »
I bought this brand new about 20 years ago. It was used for some testing and has barely been run. There is some surface rust here and there, but no pitting. Comes with the sheave and adapter plate shown. Located near downtown Houston. $750 plus shipping CONUS only.

ETA: Shipping weight is about 375# and I am very good with getting good deals on LTL shipments. So don't be afraid that shipping costs will be prohibitive.

ETA2: I found the spares, which I will include with the gen head. Lots of brushes with brush holders, both bearings, slip ring, some electronic component that I can't remember the use for, and some instructions and schematics.

Waste oil centrifuge bought brand new by me and used for some testing only. Includes centrifuge, motor and pump, manifold with gauge, valve, hoses and fittings. Priced to sell at $750 shipped CONUS.

Similar to this one: https://pabiodieselsupply.com/oil-centrifuge-motor-package/oil-centrifugemotor-package-120-gph, which would cost you $1200+

I bought this as a kit from Dieselgman in 2011. It has only been run for testing and maintenance, and might have 20 hours on it. It is mounted on 4x6 wood beams, runs a 4KW Winco gen head, and cooling is via a small car radiator. It has no issues or problems, starts easily, and runs great. It comes with several lifetimes of spares, including 3 cylinder heads / cylinders / pistons, bearings, injectors and pumps, and almost everything except the case, crank, and flywheels. See the video below with some details about spares.

Listeroid Engines / 6/1 Listeroid Kit Progress - Test Run
« on: May 09, 2011, 07:02:21 PM »
Well, I finally had time to put my Listeroid generator all together, and it seems to work well. Setup includes Winco 4KW gen head, GM alternator, small gel battery, radiator and pump bought off of E-Pay. The radiator has a thermoswitch that cuts the fan on at 190F and off at 150F, and under half load, cooled it more than adequately. I ran it for an hour at 1500W load, and will try 3000W load next time.

Listeroid Engines / 6/1 Listeroid Kit Success
« on: February 05, 2011, 03:05:03 AM »
About 2 weeks ago, I purchased a 6/1 Indian Listeroid kit from Dieselgman. It only took a few days to arrive in Houston from Kansas City. I pulled the rod out and checked the clearance and it was .006, so I just put it back together. The only thing that I did to the crank bearings was to flush clear oil through them to remove the gunk, and I cleaned out the crankcase. It took me a couple of tries to get the piston clearance right. The lower oil ring ended up broken, as indicated by the chunk of it that I luckily spotted in the sump, so I had to tear it back down. The other issues that I had were the rocker arm alignment, and fuel tank plumbing. Gary (Dieselgman) was kind enough to send me a new oil ring, a couple of different rocker assy's, and some more plumbing items. I got it all together and fired it up today. As an extra challenge, today was the coldest day in years. Anyway, it fired up on the second try. Assisting was Ben (injin Man on Microcogen), who also bought one, but hasn't assembled his yet.
