Changfa Engines / 1115 changfa injector removal
« on: December 31, 2009, 08:24:40 PM »
Anyone have a procedure for taking out the injector on a Changfa 1115?  It looks like two bolts and a plate press the injector into the sleeve.  Is the injector itself threaded also?  Any idea on torque for the injector/two retaining bolts?  Also, is there an injector seal and is it reusable?  I have to replace the seals on my VW and 300d.
Thanks

thanks, I will try the k&w.  As for the injector, I have not tried to take it out.  Is the injector threaded or is it held in by the two bolts on the side?  I hate to start tearing into something I might need, but I guess I better do it before the bad weather hits.

Changfa Engines / changfa 1115 head problem
« on: August 04, 2009, 08:51:56 PM »
My changfa runs great but last winter I noticed water seeping around the injector.  Any ideas of the problem and possible repair?  If the head needs to be removed, how much torque on the head bolts?

Thanks for the info.  After the outage I will take a look.  Another storm is heading to Kentucky so I may be out of power for a week or more.  The engine/10kw head is working great.

Engines / changfa 1115 injector nozzle body water leak
« on: January 29, 2009, 08:42:21 PM »
I am currently running my 1115 for power due to storm.  I noticed water leaking from the injector nozzle body where it connects to the head.  Any suggestions as to the problem and solution?  Is there a seal under the nozzle body that need to be replaced and if so, how do I remove the nozzle body?
Thanks.

Generators / st10 voltage problem
« on: October 06, 2008, 06:11:47 PM »
I have set my st10 gen head up to run in series.  One terminal has 115v output, the other is only 90v output.  Any ideas?  Novice electrical experience.
