Things I want to Buy / Re: Want large ST gen head. Pacific Northwest
« on: October 10, 2022, 03:35:57 PM »
Been thinking it over and it might not work out in the long run. I have many generators sitting around already. Mobile Bob was right on the governor! Part of my dream was charging Teslas with dead batteries. Getting rid if the non detergent oil is a dirty job!

38ac,
You never know? I am trying to keep freight out of it but that might not be possible. I am restoring a 1951 ford flathead that came off my dad's sawmill. So far it has nothing to do!

Portable air tanks work nice with filler welded it.

Not that I would …….I would buy 3/4" anyway aluminum plate waterjet finished sections, CNC mill each section, machine fastenings, dowel pin, mounting holes, TRB races, with O-ring groves and bolt it up! No boring mill needed anyway. Welding would work on anything but involves another line of work and attack.... in theory you could get waterjet parts within +/-.010, and finish it on a Bridgeport.

Figured it out! Like I said it must be my end. The little up down button upper right hides all the stuff I use!

Interesting! At least I now know it is me! When I log in it doesn't show I am logged in or any of the link buttons. I must have some goobers on my end!

It appears on my end there is no "topics posted sense last visit" button anymore. Is it my end? Makes it hard to keep up on goings on!

My dad ran his 6/1 to keep the freezer inline! He is 93. I bought 2 from George many years ago. He put electric start on his. I think that may be a good idea as years move on.

Glort, (sp chk!) Saw your find. 1st one I've seen aside from mine. I might have a earlier version but still same basic design.
