A little thin skinned it sounds like to me.

Stand up and ask a question.

Want some cheese with your whine?

I myself have kind of grown tired of people bantering negativly about whether this guy sells engines and he's not credible or this guy doesn't know this or that. I used to come here more often but I don't like to see people argue with each other that much. I want to hear from people who want to share about there Lister experience whether real hands on or just read about. I would be reluctant to start new topics if I thought someone was going to jump on me about this correct thing or that. I come here to learn. I would like to decide whats BS and whats not without someone pointing it out to me.

Do anyone have any information on pulsating of lights etc, in the single cylinder type engines? Is this something to be concerned with? I'm referring to the health of power tools, light ballasts, etc.   Thanks.

I don't believe you guys! I thought Americans had distrust and contempt for their governments. You are rolling over and saying you are lost and hopeless.
For as long as history has been recorded, we have been cursed with this type of people. They have been called priests and prime ministers and leaders and they are a byproduct of our civilization. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that shit floats to the top. In Canada, these people spent 2 billion dollars trying unsuccessfully to register our guns. I own more guns today then I ever did. They skimmed about 1.5 billion into their pockets. Fair trade.
Whatever laws are made by politicians, enterprising people will find a way to circumvent them and prosper. Ask the neighbourhood drug dealer how to get things done.
No problem to get these into Canada. Shipped as kits or parts they can go anywhere. Until they get a big fence built on the border, they can get to the US easily. ;D

The reality of this engine to me isn't as a plaything to monk with in the shop. I need reliable energy production with little attention and fuel consumtion. It needs to run unattended for extended periods of time . I am far from "lost and Hopeless".  I just don't feel like fighting the gov't when I want engines or parts. I can always get an Arrow in my neck of the woods. The Lister, as far as price, seemed/seems like a good idea. It appears after a complete clean and run in it would be what I expect. I understand what your saying, thats commendable. I don't dig the gov't. But I am taking a sensable buisness approach to this thing.

I don't think I would want to be in too much of a hurry to buy one of these if there will be a nix on shipping to the states.  It would only be a matter of time and parts sources will dry up or become a pain to get.

« on: January 19, 2006, 11:00:30 PM »
Does anyone know anything about a proposed ban on diesel importations that don't meet the EPA's made up rules? I have heard through the vine about a complete halt on india engine imports. Anyone know anything?   Thanks

Listeroid Engines / Buy direct,or through importer?
« on: January 13, 2006, 06:53:33 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has some advice on buying procedures. More so, should a perso go through an importer or buy directly from manufacture. There seems a large price difference, Thanks
