Title: Idling speed

Good morning, checked the RPM of my LR1 Diesel and the tacho read 794rpm. However it is 750 on the spec plate. Just checking if it is ok to adjust it to 750rpm using the screw on the gear cover? Any help would be appreciated.

That is what the screw is for small adjustments of speed. Backkoff the locknut and screw it in to slow it down
