The Yanmar YSM12 in my 28 ft sailboat is a thing of beauty.
One cylinder simplicity and the vibration/noise is no big deal (Solid mounts =more simplicity).
I have my eye on a 36 ft boat (bigger sister to existing).
Can a Changfa 20 to 30 hp big single be marinized?
I have a spare transmission Kanzaki. 2:1.
Has anybody put a Single Cyl Changfa in a boat?
And where can one be had in Canada?
Much Obliged

One day, China and other countries in the Far East will discover Health & Safety (OSHA, etc.)
In the meantime, we get to enjoy looking at proper old-school bodging (and I mean that in the best engineering sense of the word). Excellent stuff, thanks for the links!

Hey veggie, great videos showing some great ingenuity. I wonder how they check the oil level on an engine mounted at a thirty degree angle.
