Post by: compig on October 25, 2008, 10:36:08 AM
Does anyone know of a source for the brass data/info plate attached to the cylinder of CS's ?  My engine still has it's original , but it's a bit beaten up !

Try registering over at www.smokstak.com  and searching the archives or asking on the antique engine forum, I am sure someone will know where to have a replica made. Having said that , theres nothing wrong with a weathered original.Beware smokstak. The noises from your garage will soon change from bangbangbangbangbang to bang.................bang..................bang.................bang LOL !!!

If you find a suitable piece of brass you could have a go at etching.
