Title: Big End Bushing
Post by: Stan on April 04, 2007, 11:36:27 PM
I thought you might be interested in the test fit I did today on the big end bushing in Penelope.  She's a genuine Lister 6-1 and I bought an Indian set of bushings from Troy.  I plasti gauged it today, torqued to 68 ftlbs with no shims.  The results were the same each of the 3 test fittings using green Hastings Plastigage, approx 0.0018 " .  Since the min is 0.0015 and the max is 0.003 I guess they fit pretty well.

Just thought you might be interested.

Hi Graham...I don't quite know what you mean by extending beyond the cap.  I guess a picture would help
